The 2nd Baltic Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) Forum was organized in cooperation between VASAB, Baltic SCOPE project and ICES organization. Due to great success of the first MSP Forum, organizers are willing to make the event regularly - every two years.

The main idea of the event is to get the practitioners and researchers together for the issues and their possible solutions in terms of Maritime Spatial Planning. Forum included policy makers and stakeholders, scientists and experts which shared their knowledge, estimations, observations and visions for the Maritime Spatial Planning development and implementation in the Baltic Sea basin.

BONUS BaltCoast project ideas were successfully reflected within the event. During the poster session were presented all six case study sites and the general overview of it. In the work session on research needs for planning in the 21st century our SAF approaches and supporting tools were presented by Gerald Schernewski.
